Our Story

Started in 2017, by Matthew Molayem, Passage Construction Inc. has built a reputation for producing high quality structures designed with imagination and beauty in mind.

Matthew has worked all over the country, ranging from projects such as farmhouse restoration in Vermont, custom houses in Colorado, hotel renovations in Northern Virginia, to row-house construction in the DC area. While completing his bachelors in Architectural Engineering Technology at Vermont Tech, his passion for designing his own structures grew, as well as his interest in craftsmanship. While custom cabins were the original main focus of Passage Construction, we are now proud to offer high quality decks, porches and small additions to our customers as well as many other custom carpentry services. Matthew lives in Albemarle County, Virginia with his wife and dog.
